Copyright policy

Copyright in each article remains with its author(s). By publishing in MESIL, authors grant the journal first-publication rights and a non-exclusive permission to publish, distribute, preserve, and display the accepted version through the journal platform, subject to the publication licence adopted by the journal.

Authors’ responsibilities

Authors are responsible for ensuring that the manuscript is lawfully publishable and that all necessary permissions have been obtained for third-party materials, including copyrighted figures, tables, maps, or instruments. Sources and rights holders must be acknowledged as required.

Reuse

Reuse rights are governed by the licence stated on the article page and the policy version applicable when the article was published. Authors and users must provide appropriate attribution and comply with the licence terms.
