Management of digital records

MESIL uses an online journal system to manage submission records, editorial correspondence, metadata, and files of published articles. Access to unpublished files is restricted according to role and editorial need; such files are not treated as public material.

Preservation of published content

The journal aims to maintain the integrity and long-term availability of article files, bibliographic metadata, and issue archives. The publisher and platform administrator should implement backup and recovery procedures appropriate to the platform and hosting arrangements.

Third-party preservation services

Participation in third-party digital preservation services, such as the PKP Preservation Network, LOCKSS, or CLOCKSS, will be stated only when the service has actually been enabled or confirmed. Using OJS alone does not mean that content is automatically preserved by an external preservation service.
